Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data the JustSaudi website (justsaudi.app) and the JustSaudi mobile app collect, how we use and share them, and the choices you have. JustSaudi is operated by Bycom Solutions. Questions about your data: [email protected].

Data We Collect

Account data. When you register we collect your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored only in hashed form (bcrypt).

Location data. If you grant permission, the app reads your device's GPS position to detect your city on launch, show places near you in discovery, and place you on the nearby map. Coordinates are sent to our servers only while these screens are used, and are used solely to calculate distances — they are not written to our database. Location is used only while the app is in the foreground; JustSaudi does not track you in the background. You can deny location access and pick a city manually instead.

Push notification data. If you allow notifications, a push token (OneSignal player ID) is stored with your account so we can send you new-job alerts, the remittance-rate alerts you configure, and general announcements.

Content you create. Reviews and ratings, community posts and comments, job listings you publish (including the contact phone/email and photo you attach), promotion requests (contact email and phone), favorites, and the remittance alerts you set (country and target exchange rate).

Technical data. Our web servers record IP addresses and user-agent strings in server logs for security and debugging. On your device, the app stores your login token, your selected or auto-detected city (including coordinates when auto-detected), and UI preferences; map tiles are cached on-device for 30 days. The website itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics.

Newsletter email. The address you type into the "Notify Me" form is collected through FormSubmit.co and delivered to our team. We use it only to notify you about the JustSaudi launch.

How We Use Your Data

We use personal data to operate the service — nearby discovery, the map, favorites, reviews, community boards, jobs — to send the notifications you opted into, to respond to listing and promotion requests, to prevent abuse, and to keep the service secure through session and log monitoring.

We do not sell personal data. We run no advertising SDKs and no analytics trackers. JustSaudi processes no payments, so we never collect payment card data.

Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion permanently removes your account, reviews, community posts and comments, favorites, bookings, chat records, and remittance alerts from our servers. Two exceptions: listings you published remain online but are detached from your account, and contact details from promotion requests may be kept as business records. Sessions expire after two hours of inactivity; log entries are kept only as long as needed for security. On your device, map-tile and image caches are cleared when you clear the app cache, and tiles expire automatically after 30 days.

Your Rights

Under Saudi personal data protection rules (PDPL) you may request access to, a copy of, or correction of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at all times. Email [email protected] for any such request. You can also decline the location permission, turn off notifications from your device settings, or delete your account entirely.

Data Security

Passwords are hashed, the app communicates with our servers over HTTPS, and server access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure — if we become aware of an incident affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.

Children

JustSaudi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
